Yoga for Grief

The grieving process is one that each of us encounters as we navigate the different stages of our lives. Due to loss of loved ones, spouses, pets, employment or that which we care about deeply, we all are affected and move through the stages of grief differently. In this class, we will discuss how grief affects many of us on the physical, emotional and energetic bodies. We will explore a yoga practice that may alleviate the pain and heartache of grief. Breathwork, meditation and asana will be facilitated throughout class to encourage the acceptance of our particular situation and overcoming the overwhelming loss we may be experiencing. Registered Yoga Instructors with the Yoga Alliance will be eligible for 2 CEUs for participating in this workshop. Details given at class time!
