"What a great opportunity to not only grow in my yoga practice but to emotionally and spiritually grow through the wide variety of class offerings. It was awesome to connect with so many people interested in that same growth. Very well organized, and it’s only the first year! The gorgeous riverside land and super friendly property owner of Barn at Node were an added treat! Didn’t take many pics, because I was trying to be present in the moment."

"I gotta say the opportunity to have such a wide variety of massage techniques available - FOR FREE - was the biggest most pleasant surprise! I tried Acupuncture for the first time and I'm absolutely hooked. I watched people walk into the healing space, with curious and tired expressions and walk away looking like they were in the clouds. It was an amazing transformation to witness each day!"

"Kentucky Yoga Festival gives you an opportunity to play, to explore, to celebrate, to unravel, to tune in, to create an ecstatic experience. There’s freedom, spontaneity, community, and adventure. You hang out with like-minded people, listen to music, make new friends, share dinner and laughter after a day of pouring your heart open, participating in co-creation, activating strength, or softening into gentleness.
Often you’re learning something new in a low-stress atmosphere, and sometimes you’re giggling on your mat—amazed by the communal vibe, the music, the incredible instructors, and a breath taking view. Everyone’s energy resonates. It’s easier to connect with people, to chase after life. You just feel more full. I remember laughing really hard with friends, some of us brought to tears, after a class was all over. Things were just funny, vibrant, heart warming, and bright.
The Kentucky Yoga Festival is the perfect place to get to know yourself and discover just how powerful you really are. There are always a ton of opportunities to try something you never thought you'd do before, to experience your body and move in a way that you never have, to check out a new perspective, to come apart and crack open, to release and shed layers, and open doors that have been yet to be walked through in your mind. Good things happen outside of your comfort zone. Outside the comfort zone is where you grow, learn, and re-define your limits. You can experience the power of coming together, of opening your heart and showing it's contents of both beauty and pain. Humans, in general, struggle with eye contact, and the thought of holding the gaze of a total stranger is enough to make your skin crawl. But it is truly beautiful to just look into someone else’s eyes, to truly see their experience, and to know that you’re in this together. You experience moments like this over and over on this land. It’s an opportunity to connect with people in a deeply meaningful way. It’s those people that you know for a few minutes and feel an intense and immediate intimacy with. It's the lasting friendships that are deepened through this experience, the family that helps you grow and supports you in ways you never knew you needed to be supported.
The Kentucky Yoga Festival is an incredibly intense and meaningful experience. Whether it’s chatting over breakfast with your new friends, cackling late at night at the campsite, practicing amongst hundreds of sweaty bodies, crying with a stranger, or swaying together to the beat of the music or a hum, there will be countless times at this yoga festival when you’ll feel the collective energy pulse through you and lift you up. 🫶💗"
