
Courtney Ribeiro
Courtney Ribeiro (rē-Bye-roo) is a devoted mother, wife, yoga instructor, nurse, activist, and adrenaline adventurer. With a lineage of healers inspiring her, Courtney has dedicated 9 years as a Critical Care Nurse and Rapid Response Nurse at the University of Kentucky, while also volunteering as a Street Medic in Louisville. Her journey with yoga began in her 20s, and a transformative experience at the Kentucky Yoga Festival led her to become a certified trauma-informed Kundalini Yoga & Meditation teacher. She continues to expand her knowledge, currently working toward additional certifications and a Master’s degree.
Outside her professional roles, Courtney is a passionate traveler and adventurer, engaging in snowboarding, surfing, hiking, and more. With over a decade of experience as a photographer, her work has been featured in numerous publications, though she now embraces photography as a personal, artistic outlet, capturing cherished moments and sharing her creativity with her community.
